A record of Android apps in which every fact is credited to a source and every gap is left as a gap.
On Reliable App Reviews, reliable describes how information is handled, not how an app behaves. Each fact is taken from a public store listing and credited to it. Nothing is estimated, and nothing is added from outside the listing.
The round seal beside an entry shows the rating the store displays, as a number. It is not a certificate, an approval or a safety check. This site does not test, scan or audit the apps it lists, so the seal says how people rated an app, not whether the app is sound.
Entries are built ahead of time and served as plain files, so a page does not change while you are reading it.
If a fact on an entry looks wrong, or a figure has lost track of where it came from, say so through the contact page.
Figures with no public source, claims that an app has been verified, and modified builds. If a number cannot be tied back to a store listing, it does not appear.
Reliable App Reviews is kept by the people who run the site. There is no testing lab, no audit team and no panel of reviewers behind it.
What they do is copy figures from public listings, reword descriptions in their own words and fix entries that are pointed out as wrong. They do not test the apps.
A record is reliable when you can see where each line came from.
