SCRUFF

What SCRUFF Does

SCRUFF is a social and dating app for gay, bi, trans, and queer men. It helps users browse nearby profiles, find people with shared interests, and start conversations through direct messaging. The app also supports connections between people in different places, making it useful both for local social discovery and for users planning trips.

Ways to Meet People

The Match feature presents a daily selection of profiles and only reports a connection when interest is mutual. Search tools and filters help narrow results by preferences, while hashtags provide another way to find users with similar interests. Verified profile badges are designed to give users more confidence that a profile represents a real person.

Useful for Travel and Community

SCRUFF Explore adds a broader community focus to the usual profile-and-chat format. Users can find or RSVP to events such as prides, festivals, and other gatherings in different locations. This can be helpful for anyone who wants to make plans before travelling or look for LGBTQ+ events after arriving somewhere new.

Ratings and Developer

Its current rating is about 3.4 out of 5 from more than 114,000 reviews, indicating a mixed overall response.
