Draw Anime - AR Drawing Sketch

AR-guided anime drawing practice

Draw Anime - AR Drawing Sketch is an Art & Design app for people who want to practice drawing anime characters on paper with help from their phone. It uses augmented reality to place a selected outline or lesson over your drawing surface, giving beginners a visual guide to follow while they sketch.

How the drawing process works

Place a sheet of paper on a flat surface, open the app, and choose a character or drawing template. The phone camera displays the guide on top of the real-world view, allowing you to trace the visible lines onto the paper. This approach can help users work on proportions, outlines, and individual drawing steps without relying only on written instructions.

Useful for beginners and regular practice

• Follow anime-focused drawing lessons in a step-by-step format.
• Use AR overlays to trace outlines while keeping your work on paper.
• Practice character sketches, doodles, and other template-based designs.
• Build confidence with repeated sketching rather than trying to draw a full character from memory.
• Use the app as a guided practice tool for home drawing sessions or casual creative activities.

App details

The app is suited mainly to beginners, anime and manga fans, and anyone looking for a structured way to practise traditional sketching. It combines phone-based AR guidance with physical paper, so the result is a hand-drawn exercise rather than a purely digital illustration. Its catalogue listing shows a 4.51-star rating from 4,509 reviews and 1,000,000+ installs. Draw Anime - AR Drawing Sketch is published by LOGICLABS LIMITED.
